Liverpool have accepted a fee of around £6m from German side Hoffenheim for Ryan Babel.
The Dutch international has not really shown his outstanding potential in England after Liverpool beat a host of clubs (including Arsenal) in 2007 for his signature.
The move is subject to personal terms being agreed but Liverpool will make a £5m loss for the player.
