Aston Villa have withdrawn their interest in Blackpool's midfielder Charlie Adam.
They made two bids for Adam , the highest being £3.5m but Blackpool have rejected them.
It is believed that Blackpool are demanding at least £10m for their skipper.
The price has scared Houllier off as he has used most of his transfer funds with the Bent deal.
