West Ham has finally ended their chase for a new striker, after bringing Demba Ba on loan until the rest of the season.
A belated search for new players has started at Upton Park after Grant was given a stay of execution as manager.
Ba failed a medical at Stoke but his goalscoring record is very good. He has bagged 37 goals in 97 games for Hoffenheim and will be a much welcomed addition for the Hammers.
