Birmingham have pulled out of the race to sign Irishman Robbie Keane from Spurs.
The 30 year old is said to have stunned Birmingham by his astonishing contractual demands - he asked for a 4 year deal at wages of £70,000 a-week.
I can say that I am not altogether surprised that Birmingham have rejected Keane's demands- he has barely played for the past couple of weeks and £6m was already an inflated figure for a 30 year old.
